Job Overview

Scorpio’s is hiring barbacks who are energetic, dependable, and ready to keep the night moving. You’re the engine behind the bar making sure every bartender has what they need to serve guests quickly, cleanly, and with style. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in hard work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that great nights depend on great teamwork.

Whether you’re restocking ice, swapping kegs, or cleaning glasses, you’re a vital part of what keeps Scorpio’s running smoothly and looking fabulous all night long.

Key Responsibilities

• Restock beer, liquor, mixers, and garnishes throughout the night.
• Assist bartenders with setup, cleanup, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• Change kegs, refill ice bins, and wash glassware as needed.
• Bus tables and collect empty glasses and bottles from guest areas.
• Keep bar areas stocked, sanitized, and ready for nonstop service.
• Prepare fruit and garnishes before opening.
• Support bartenders with closing duties and next-shift setup.
• Follow all venue safety, alcohol, and cleanliness policies.
• Stay alert, sober, and ready to jump in wherever help is needed.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and reliable, team-first attitude.
• Able to lift 40–50 lbs and move quickly in tight spaces.
• Comfortable working in loud, crowded, high-energy environments.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and sober while on shift.
• Available late nights and weekends (typically 7 PM-3:30 AM).
• Experience in nightlife, hospitality, or bar service preferred but not required.
• Must be 21+ with valid ID.
• Willing to be trained in Scorpio’s bar systems and closing procedures.
