Scorpio’s is seeking professional, alert, and high-energy Door Staff to be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and vibrant nightlife experience. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to handle high-energy crowds with professionalism and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Check-In & Entry Management – Verify IDs and ensure all patrons meet age requirements and club policies for entry.
• Customer Interaction – Provide a friendly and welcoming experience while enforcing club rules and regulations.
• Crowd Control & Safety – Monitor guest behavior, identify potential safety concerns, and work proactively to prevent incidents.
• Handling Unruly Guests – Assess intoxicated or disruptive individuals and deny entry as needed, escalating to security and management when necessary.
• Communication with Security & Management – Relay concerns regarding guests, potential security risks, or any escalating situations to the appropriate staff.
• Maintaining a Diverse & Inclusive Environment – Ensure all guests feel respected and welcomed while upholding club policies on behavior and entry.
• Conflict De-Escalation – Use communication skills to defuse tense situations and ensure a safe atmosphere for all patrons.
• End-of-Night Duties – Assist in clearing guests from the venue at closing time, ensuring a smooth and safe exit.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Night and Weekend Shifts Required – Work hours typically extend until 3 AM on event nights.
• Must be comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced nightclub setting.
• Will interact with diverse clientele, including LGBTQ+ guests and allies.
• Must be comfortable dealing with intoxicated and potentially unruly patrons in a professional manner.

Requirements:

• Strong Communication & Customer Service Skills – Ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
• Situational Awareness & Decision-Making – Must be able to assess guest behavior and make informed decisions regarding entry and safety.
• Physical Stamina – Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a high-energy environment.
• Professionalism & Dependability – Must be punctual, responsible, and committed to upholding Scorpio’s standards.

Compensation:

Pay starts at $15 per hour, with potential for increases based on experience and performance.
